 Having friends is a very important part of our lives. Though friendship does not depend on receiving or giving gifts, presenting a special friend a handmade jewelry friendship bracelet can be an expression of your feelings towards that person. Handmade jewelry always shows the friend that they mean enough to you to take the time out of your very busy life just for them.

 I recently made a true friend of mine a friendship bracelet and found it surprisingly easy to put together. All I needed was strands of colored yarn and a pair of scissors. 
 
 Go to a craft store and buy strands of three different colored yarns.I buy the thickest yarn I can find. Take three strands, from three each color and hold the three strands together and make an overhand knot. Make sure that you leave a tail of about 3 to 6 inches. I tape this tail to a table and start weaving the friendship bracelet like you would a French braid. Keep on repeating this until you have made enough rows to be wrapped over the wrist of your friend. Finally, tie off the end using a square knot. Keep a tail, of the same length as before and cut off the left over yarn. They also have instruction booklets you can buy on a variety of handmade jewelry.

 When I presented this handmade jewelry bracelet to my friend she was over joyed and I was thrilled to able to show her how much I cared.
